Make the most of the beautiful Isle of Purbeck by taking on our fun and adventurous activities
We are experts in creating tailored outdoor experiences. Whether you’re brining a group of year 4’s on their first trip away from their parents, are a corporate management group wanting to improve communication, you’re looking to be entertained with family and friends or you’re aiming to connect your sports team with a new experience, get in touch.
On Land
Our land based activities provide a breadth of experiences from developing personal skills with target sports to team coordination and problem solving challenges. These activities commonly take place around Brenscombe itself although many can be set up in remote locations depending on the needs of the programme.
On Water
Watersports activities are held at Cleavel Point, our private spit of land on the tranquil south side of Poole Harbour; the 3rd largest natural harbour in the world. Wildlife flocks to the harbour year-round, including the local seal ‘Ron’, whom you may be lucky enough to meet while our in our Big Canoes!
The session can vary from games on the Kayaks and Canoes within Newton Bay to journeying in our Big Canoes around the many islands of the harbour; including Green Island a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), Furzey Island, Brownsea Island or over to the RSPB nature reserve at Arne.
Up High
Activities at height are used for both team and individual challenges. Our climbing and abseiling usually take place on the limestone sea cliffs of the Jurassic Coast. We also have an artificial wall at our extensive Burnbake Ropes Course. Nestled within the tress Burnbake also offers numerous high and low ropes elements creating scope for multi day experiences on its own.
