Built in the fifteenth century from stone quarried from Corfe Castle, Brenscombe is a lovely old Purbeck farm on the flanks of the Purbeck Ridge with beautiful views across the heathland to Poole Harbour. It remained as a farm until 1992, when it was converted from a piggery to an outdoor activity centre. Brenscombe now provides outdoor education activities and experiences for a huge range of clients. From the start we have aimed to:
As we approach our quarter-century of operation we remain committed to the same ideals and to providing the same quality of care and service as we always have. We are a small and friendly organisation with a lot of experience in delivering outdoor activities in a range of contexts. Over the years there is not much that we haven’t turned our hands to at one time or another and the business continues to develop and evolve. Under the new ownership of the New Forest Outdoor Centre since January 2014, the range of outdoor expertise has been broadened and deepened with the introduction of new ventures, courses and venues. The personal touch however has not been lost and we still hold a close and fruitful relationship with all our clients at the core of our work.
